The old peasant is constantly thinking about the economy; the shepherd guy enjoys honor and fame every night
In a long, long time, not far from each other lived the sage-Taoist Zhuangzi and a certain Mo Guang, a venerable rich peasant. And in the village an orphan was found, who found shelter with strangers. His name was Foundling. He grew an ignoramus, but the Taoist paid attention to him and ordered him to repeat the Taoist curse daily in order to find joy in a dream.
The foundling repeated the mysterious words a hundred times, and he dreamed a dream. As if he is an educated nobleman and is not called Foundling, but Blossoming. And he was called to court, and wrote a report highly praised by the sovereign. Rides a proud horse with his retinue. But then he woke up, and the vision disappeared.
Just at that time, rich Mo needed a shepherd. He hired the Foundling. He moved to a new home and again before going to bed repeated the Taoist curse. And again he dreamed the same dream exactly from the place where he had broken off last morning.
And so the guy’s life flowed: during the day he grazed oxen, and at night he became an important nobleman, even became related with the royal daughter. Once, in a dream, he met a learned scribe and arrogantly boasted before him his happy fate. Woke up, and in reality with a herd of misfortune happened: the oxen died.
Decided the Foundling; if there is joy in a dream, there are only grief in life - and he stopped reading the spell. But immediately and in a dream, happiness turned away from him, and in reality the setbacks continued: the hostess donkey fell ill. The shepherd went to the mountains to collect herbal herbs and found a treasure under the bush. He shared his wealth with his master, and he took him into the house and adopted him.
Now everything has changed: in the afternoon the young man flourished, but in his sleep nightmares tormented him. Rich Mo even called a doctor to him. It turned out to be the very Taoist who taught the young man a spell. He explained that in this way he wanted to instill in him the concept of the imperfection of life.
And then real enlightenment came to Priyumysh. He decided to give up wealth and leave with Taoism. Both of them disappeared like clouds in the sky. True, the young man became a celestial.
